Music Ministry

Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.  Our music ministry uplifts the kingdom of God through songs of praise and worship to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Psalm 95:1 - Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!

 

Christian Education Ministry

Christian Ed provides & seeks ways and opportunities to educate, inform and empower all ages. To discover and grow deeper in Jesus Christ and the church, preparing witnesses to speak and act as disciples.



Ecclesiastes 7:12 - For the protection of wisdom is

like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him

who has it.

Usher Board Ministry

The Gatekeepers!  As the first and the last faces that you see at the church the ushers play a very important role.  They provide the way into the house of the Lord.  The Usher Board includes youth, young adults, as well as adult men and women.



Psalm 84:10  -  For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Finance/Stewardship Ministry

To oversee the financial affairs of the Church in an orderly, business-like manner, acceptable to current business practices, so we may be good stewards of the sacrificial gifts of the congregation.  The team will address all actions which relate to the financial and legal well-being of the Church.  The team will prepare budgets, review financial reports and assist the other ministry teams.

Proverbs 24:3-4 - Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms shall be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Youth & Young Adult Ministry

To provide spiritual, counseling, and leadership services to children, adolescents, and young adults.  To create an environment for our youth to meet with their peers and elders to share and gain knowledge from the Bible as it relates to their lives.  Children’s Ministries exists to partner with families in helping their kids know who God is and who He’s created them to be.


Luke 2:52 NIV  - “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

Presbyterian Women

Supporting the needs and issues for women locally and worldwide is the purpose of this ministry. Encourages positive atmosphere to renew and strengthen faith.

Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

The Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry encourages men in the church through their commitment to healthy and wholesome living with Christ as the center of their life. The Men’s Council promotes family and community commitment.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Food & Health Ministry

The Health Ministry promotes education and support of mental and physical health. Provides literature and various media materials concerning health issues, to promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle.  This ministry also coordinates and provides well rounded nutritious meals for special events.

 1 Corinthians 3:17  - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Nurture & Care Ministry

Welcome!  NCM provides assimilation for new members into the church to becoming "active" members. Encouraging growth in faith, activities and working together.

John 14:23 - Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to have continual, effectual, fervent prayer and intercession for our Pastor and Family, the church body, communities, cities, states, countries and the entire world.  IPM prays for the prayer request by e-mail, phone call, and request slips that are placed in the prayer box.  Our sole purpose in this ministry is to stand in the gap with prayer.

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” James 5:15
