Reverend Damiko Faulkner is a witness to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is a native of Charlotte, NC where he and his wife have returned and now reside. Reverend Faulkner discovered a love for public speaking and reaching out to others, which eventually led to him study the area of Communication at Winston Salem State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts and furthered his studies by attending East Tennessee State University to continue focusing on Speech and Psychology then receiving a Masters of Arts in Professional Communication. Reverend Faulkner eventually yielded to his call to ministry and attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary earning a Masters of Divinity and certification in Urban Ministry.
His ministerial experience allowed him to serve by teaching and preaching within diverse congregational settings in Pittsburgh, PA and Charlotte, NC. Reverend Faulkner currently serves as Pastor of Ben Salem Presbyterian Church where he is working with the congregation to respond to the needs of the surrounding community through various ministries and new found partnership with educational institutions and other community organizations. Reverend Faulkner feels that he is able to continue on the path laid before him to serve God through his passion to effectively preach the Word of God for application in the immediate context to invoke a response from God’s people to be doers of Gods’ Word rather than hearers. When an opportunity presents itself, he strives to lead by example on the mission field by devoting his time to serve various commissions that work toward justice for the marginalized.
Despite the daily obstacles many of us face while carrying the gospel to the nations, Reverend Faulkner remains faithful to his call to ministry. While embarking upon this journey, he makes it a point to keep in mind Philippians 4:13, which reminds him that I can do all things through Him who strengthens me”
